Thank you in advance for making plans to attend Sedona and Tavin's upcoming wedding weekend of September 6-8, 2024! We are all very excited to have you join us and share in the festivities and celebration! The mountains of Utah should provide a beautiful fall experience.

Below are the instructions and rates for booking your room at The Newpark Hotel & Resort, where you will be welcomed as part of our hotel block and receive a deeply discounted wedding guest rate. Please try to book your room(s) ASAP, so that you are assured to receive your preferred room type at the best rate. Please note, we have personally guaranteed the entire room block according to your specific commitments for rooms, so please be sure to follow through with your reservation prior to the stated deadline below so that we are not left financially responsible for empty rooms.

Official check in time is 4PM. The hotel does provide secure luggage storage if needed, in the event your room is not ready early.

The hotel is located in Kimball Junction in Park City, close to restaurants and shopping. Kimball Junction is approximately 30 miles/minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. The actual wedding venue is in Kamas, Utah which is 20-25 minutes from the hotel or 60 minutes from the airport. Please keep this in mind when considering event timing and transportation needs. A car or rideshare will be your best option to reach the venue.

Hotel Charges

• ROOM CHARGES: Per the group contract, sleeping rooms are pay on own. At the time of booking a valid credit/debit card must be provided.
• INCIDENTALS: Room type upgrades and incidentals will be pay on own. Any incidentals accumulated onsite wll be charged to the card on file.

Cut Off Date

30 days prior to event
• Please note that Newpark Hotel will be guaranteeing a room block and holding it until 1 month prior to the wedding
• At that time, any unreserved rooms from the group block are released to the hotel's general inventory. Guests will still receive the discounted group rate up if booking after this date, however, sleeping room availability is no longer guaranteed and will be based on the hotel's general availability. In order to secure a room, please make your reservations prior to the above date.

Check In / Check Out Times

4:00pm / 11:00am

• CHECK IN: Our guaranteed checked in time is 4:00pm. If you would like to request an early check-in, please contact one of our fabulous front desk agents (435-649-3600 ext. 0) and they will accommodate if possible.
• CHECK OUT: Check out time is 11:00am. Any rooms occupied after 11:00 a.m. may be subject to additional charges. Please remember to plan ahead around any group functions/meetings.

Deposit Policy

1 night stay

• INITIAL DEPOSIT: At time of booking Newpark Resort requires a deposit equal to the group nightly rate, plus taxes and fees for one night. This will be charged to the credit card provided and will be a credit on your account. Any remaining balance will be due at morning of arrival to the card on file.
• DEPOSIT REFUND: A full refund of your deposit will be granted should you cancel prior to the group cancellation policy. Please note refunds may take up to 10 business days to be reflected on your account.

Cancellation Policy

72 hours prior to arrival

• CANCELLATIONS: If you find that you need to cancel your stay, please do so prior to 72 hours before your scheduled arrival. Once within the 72 hour cancellation period, reservations will be charged in full for the cost of your original stay.
• EARLY DEPATURES: Any departures earlier than your original check out date which were not communicated prior to the 72 hour cancellation period will be charged in full.

Transportation

• For local transit, Park City offers a free public bus system that can get you anywhere you need to go. Check out http://www.parkcity.org/about-us/transit-bus/ for maps, schedules, and more information.
• For private transit and airport shuttles, we highly recommend Haroon Transportation. They provide exceptional service and great pricing. You can contact them using this inquiry form. (Pssst! Hotel guests get a discount!)
• For shared rides to/from the airport we recommend Canyon Transportation. You can book online at https://canyontransport.com/ or by calling 801-255-1841 and mention code "Newpark" for a discount.
